RESOLUTION NO. 2180
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFlCATIONS NO. 223 AND ENGINEER'S PLANS
NOS. Al-1463, Al-1464 AND Al-1465 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS
IN SOT.O .STREET ~ .IN 37TH STREET ~ AND IN JEWEL AVENUE" (A
PRIVATE STREETJ.. IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
8 WHEREAS, under date of May 28, 1958, the Engineering
9 Department of the City of Vernon submitted to the City Council specifica-
10 tions No. 223 and Engineerts Plans for the construction of sewers in
11 SotoStreet, in 37th Street, and in Jewel Avenue (a private street) and
12 recommended approval thereof; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
14 investigated the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for
15 the work done under said Specifications No. 223;

NOW ~ THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 223 and
19 Engineer's Plans Nos. Al-1463 consisting of one (1) sheet, Al-1464 con-
20 sisting of one (l) sheet and Al-1465 consisting of three (3) sheets be, and
211 the same are hereby approved for the construction of sewers in Soto Street,
22 in 37th Street, and in Jewel Avenue. in the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
has ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general pre-
vailing rate per diem for wages for laborers. workmen and mechanics
employed by contraet:O.I'sand subcontractors, for the doing of any work
set forth in Specifications No. 223 are thQse wage rate schedules contained
in said Specifications No. 223.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
