THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF VERNON RES.oLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS.. on January 7,1 1958,1 Vernon Paving Company was
8 awarded the contract for the construction of asphalt concrete pavem.ent
9 resurfacing in Was-hingtonBou1evard west at .Downey Road in accordance
10 with Specifications No.. 2.19; and
11 WHEmEAS,I the City Engineer bas reported to the City Council
12 under date of June 13,1 195.8,1 that said contracto.r has comptefed the work
13 in accordance withSpeci!ications No.. 219 in a; gatisfactory manner.. and
14 rec.Gmmends that said workbe acc.epted;

That there is" now due Vernon Paving Company
211 the sum of *4,1873.26.. being 90~ of the contract price.. and the balance.. or
22 lO~of the contract price.. being the sum at *541. 47,1 shall be paid after
23 thirty-five (35) days.
