3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS TO WIDEN THE
4 26TH STREET BRIDGE.. AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF TWELVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS TO MOFFATT & NICHOL. INC.. CONSULTING
5 ENGINEERS.
RESOLUTION NO. 2189

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

8 WHEREAS.. a contract has been executed with Moffatt & Nichol..
9 Inc... Consulting Engineers.. to prepa;r-e design.. plans and specifications to
10 widen the 26th Street Bridge in the City of Vernon; and
11 WHEREAS.. said contract provides for the payment of Twelve
12 Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) to Moffatt & Nichol" Inc... upon the approval
13 of the final plans and specifications; and
14 WHEREAS.. under date of July 7.. 1958", the City Engineer
15 recommended to the City Council that said final plans and specifications be
16 accepted.. and that payment be made in accordance with the contract;
17 NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That final plans prepared by Moffatt & Nichot..
19 Inc... Consulting Engineerss for the design.. plans and specifications to
20 widen the 26th Street Bridge are hereby approved" and payment.of the sum
21' of Twelve Hundred Dollars ($1200.00) to Moffatt & Nichol.. Inc... in accord-
22 ance with the contract heretofore entered into is hereby approved and the
23 City Clerk is directed to make said payment..

SECT ION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
25 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
26 same shall be in full force and effect.
27 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of July.. 1958.
