RESOLUTION NO. 2212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE' CITY OF VERNON
3 GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO THE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT
NO. 10F LOS ANGEL.ES COUNTy FOR SEWER PURPOSES~ iliA

THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS, the County Sanitation District No. 1 .of Los Angeles
8 County has submitted an Easement for sewer purposes to a portion of
9 Alcoa Avenue in the City of Vernon; and
10 . WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
11 adVisable to grant said easement;
12 NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City of Vernon does hereby grant to
SECTION 1:
the County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County.. an easement
to -1a;y.. construct, maintain. reconstruct, use and operate a sewer pipe
line over, through and across that certain easement reserved by the City
of Vernon by Ordinance No. 605, in the following described property:
All of that portion of Rancho San Ant.onio inth.e City
of Vernon, County of Los Angeles within that certain
strip of land known as Alcoa Avenue vacated by the
Gity of Vernon by resolution No. 1339 recorded in
Book No. 24464, page 267 of Official Records in the
Office of the Recorder of the Gounty of .L.os Angeles
within a strip of land six (6) feet in width lying three (3)
feet on each side of a line parallel with and 9.5 feet
easterly, measured at right angle from the centerline
of said. Alcoa Avenue.
SECTION 2:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and instructed to execute that certain Sewer Easement dated
July 31s 1958 submitted by the County Sanitation District, for and on behalf
of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3:
The City <;lerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pa.ssage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the

1 same shall be in full force and effect.
2 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of September, 1958.
