RESOLUTION NO. 22J 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE INVITING SEA.LED PR.OPOSALS OR.
BIDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF DOWNEY ROAD FROM HOLABIRD
4 AVENUE TO 26TH STREET. IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS
NO. 225 AND ENGINEE.RIS PLAN NO. A3..1517 CONSISTING OF ONE (1)
5 SHEET. .
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
8 directed to give notice inviting seated proposals or bids for the reconStruction
9 of Downey R.oad from Holabird Avenue to 26111 Street... in accordance with
10 Specifica.tions No. 225 and Engineer's Plan No. A3-1517 consisting of one (1)
11 sheet.. and the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals contained in said Sp.ec.ifica-
12 tion No. 225.

SECTION 2:
There being no newspap.er of general circu1a-
14 tion printed... published and circulated in the City of Vernon. the City Clerk

15 I is hereby directed to post said notice. or cause the same to be posted... in
16 I three (3) of the most public places in said city, to wit: the northwest corner
17 of 38th Street and Santa 'Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boule-
18 vard and Pacific Boulevard. and on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City
19 Hall of the City of Vernon.. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in said City.

SECTION 3:
The first posting of said notice shall be not
211 less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed work.
22 The notice shaH distinctly state the work to be done.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution... and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.
