A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
CONSOLIDATINO "CITY OF VERNON TAX DISTRICT NO. Iff AND
'tCITY OF VERNON TAX DISTRICT NO. 2f' AND REPEALIN(1RESOLU...
TION$ NOS. 524 AND 563 AND ALL OTHER RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS# the City Council of the City of Vernon did.. on the
first day of October, 1928. by Resolution No. 524 duly adopted#. divide said
City of Vernon. into tax districts" known as "City of Vernon Tax District
No. I" and "City of Vernon Tax District No.2"; and on the 19th day of
AUgust.. 1928, by Re.solution No. 563, duly adopted. made the newly annexed
territory# known as: nVernon and Downey Territory" a part or HCity of
Vernon Tax District No. I", and
WHEREAS. the need for two separate tax districts no longer
exists.
NOW., THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the tax: districts heretofore known as
"City of Vernon Tax District No. I'l and llCity of Vernon Tax District .No. 2"
are hereby consolidated into one district and the same shall h~reafter be
designated as tlCity of Vernon Tax District No. I".
SECTION 2:
That the boundaries of the "City of Vernon
Tax District No. Iff are hereby designated to be the same as the boundaries
of the City of Vernon on the date of the adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 3:
That the City of Vernon map attached hereto
and marked "Exhibit A", showing the boundaries of the City of Vernon on
the date of the adoption of this resolution is hereby designated as the :map
showing the boundaries of "City of Vernon Tax])istrict No. lY.
SECTION 4:
That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
send a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Asse.ssor of the County
of Los Angeles and to the State Board of Equalization.

SECTION 5.:
That Resolutions Nos. 524 and 563$ and
2 all other resolutions or parts of res.olutions in conflict herewith are hereby
3 repealed.

SECTION 6:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
5 certify t~ the pa.ssage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
6 same shall be in full force and effect.
7 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5thda:y of November, 1958.
