RESOLUTION NO. 2243
AUOOLUTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECU'I'ION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
AMERICAN CAN COMPANY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS,# American Can Company is desirous of constructing,
mainta.ining> using and operating .aconveyor bridge along, across and above
48th Street in the City of Vernon; and
WRER.EAS,# a License Agreement has been prepared by the City
Attorney and it is recommended that said agreement be entered into by Ute
City of Vernon.
NOW. THEltEFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Vernon are hereby authprized and directed to execute said License Agree-
ment.on behalf of the CUyof Vernon.witA American Can Company for the
construction. mafntenanceand operation of a conveyor bridge al()ttg,# acros.s
and above 48th Street in the City of Vernon.
SECTION .2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of th.ls Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
samesh.al1 be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th day ofJanuary~ 1959.
