RESOLUTION NO.
2244
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
FOR POUND SERVICES.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS# there has been submitted to the City Council by
7 the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angelesl' an Amendment to
8 Agreement Entitled "Pound Services" for services to be performed by the
9 County of Los Angeles; and
10 WHEREAS, on November 51' 1958 the City Council authorized
11 the execution of the original agreement, and it is recommended that the
12 Amendment submitted be entered into;
13 NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be~ and
15 they are hereby authorized to execute an Amendment to Agreement Entitled
16 "Pound Services" with the County of Los Angeles for said services.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
18 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same
19 shall be in full force and effect.
20 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 3rd day of Februaryl' 1959.
