2255
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE GITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF TR.ANSMISSIONMAIN AND
RATE-OF-FLOW CONTROL PIPING INAGCORDANGE WITH
SPECIFICATIONS NO. 209 OF SAID CITY.
THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON. RESOLVES A$ JrOLLOW$;:
WHEREAS~ under date of .January 10# 1959. ..James: M.
-Montgomery, Consulting Engineer. recommended acceptance and final
payment for the construction of transmission main and rate--o!....fiow
control piping in. accordance with Specifications No. 209; and
WHEREAS, there is due Utility Construction Company So
final ten percent payment of $7, 38.fl. 94 payable thirty-five days after
filing the notice of completion;
NOW,. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to file the .Notice of Completion and pay to Utility Construction Company.
thirty...five days after the filing of said Notice. the sum of $7.38.8.94 p
final payment under its contract.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the pass:a.ge of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and. effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 3rd day of March. 1959.
