THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
9 hereby directed to give notice inviting sealed proposals or bids: for the
10 I widening of the 26th Street Bridge in accordance with Specifications NQ. 221
11 and Ikawings NOEl. .L-670...1 thru8~ and the Notice Inviting Sealed PrOP~s
12 contained in said ~eclfications. No. 221.

SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper of general cireula-
14 tion printed.. published and circulated in the City of Vernon.. the City Clerk
15 is: hereby directed to post said notice.. or cause the same to be posted" in
16 three (SJ of the most public places in said City.. to wit: the northwest corner
17 of 38th Street and Santa; Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis Boule-
18 yard and Pacific Boulevard.. and on the bulletin boa;rd in the lobby of the
19 CityHa:ll of the City of Vernon. located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in liaid City.

SECTION 3:
The first posting Qf said notice shan be not
211 less than ten (10) days before the date of opening bids for the proposed work.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Verm.:m shall
24 certify to the p.aElsage of this Resolution. and thereupon.and thereafter the
25 same s:halt be in full force and effect.
