RESOLUTION NO. 2260
A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCn., OF TIlE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTTONOF AN AGREEMENT. BE'."CWEEN THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT AND THE CITY
OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCn., OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. the Los Angeles County FlOod Control I)istriqt has
submitted an agreement which provide::l for cooperation between the City
of Vernon and saidJ)istrict" for the design and construction of the 1958
Storm Drai.n Bond Issue Projects; and
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Vernon deems it
advis.able to enter int<\> said agreement; and
WHEREAS" s.aid Agreement has been approved as to form by
Vincent R. Poxon# City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the Mayor and the City Clerk be.. and
they are hereby authOrized. to ex:ecute the Agreement submitted by the Los
Angel es County Flood Control Dis.trict with its letter of M;,a.rch 9# 1959.
between the District and the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage Qf this Resolution" and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same sha,ll be infull force and effect.
