A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YEB.NON
ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VERNON-ALCOA RELIEF
SEWER. AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF REMAINING MONIES DUE
UNDER SAID CONTRACT.. IN ACCORDANCE WITnSPEClFICATIONS
NO. 220 OF .sAm CITY .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
8 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., City Engineer, ha.s
9 reported to the City Council that Nick Tom ovich and Son has completed
10 the construction of the Vernon-Alcoa Relief Sewer in accordance with
11 . Specifications No. 220, and recommends that said work be accepted and
12 final paym.ent made thirty-five days after .acceptance of said work;
13 NOW.. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the construction of the Verno:n....Alcoa.
15 Relief Sewer be, and the same is hereby accepted as being satisfactory and
16 in accordance with Specifications No. 220 of said City.

SECTION 2:
That there is due Nick Tomovich and Son,
18 the remaining five percent payment under_ its contract, or the sum of
19 $10, 412.45,. and said sum ,is hereby directed to be paid thirty-five days
20 after the adopt~on of this Resolution.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
22 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter
23 the s.am eshall be in full force and effect.
