RESOLUTION NO. 2266
A RES<JLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AUTHORIZING THEMAy()R TO EXECUTE.. ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF VERNON. AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE .OOARD OF
E~ru.TION:PROVIDING F<JR THE ACCELERATED TRA1iS:MITTAL
OF LOCAL SALES TAX COLLECTIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
8 WHEREAS, under date of April 3, 1959, th~ State Board of
9 Equalization submitted .aform. of agreement providing for acc~lerated
10 transmittal of loca;ls~es tax collections; and
11 WHEREAS" the City Council deems it advisable to enter intp
12 said agreement;
13 NOW" THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Mayor be" and he is hereby
SECTION 1:
15 authorized to execute,. onbehaU of the City of Vernon" an agreement $
16 submitt~d by the State B.<:mrd of Equalization providing for the accelerated
17 transmittal of local sales tax collections:.

SECTION 2:
The City Clerk shall atta.chacertified copy
19 of this Reliolution to each copy of the amended .agreement forwarded to
20 the State Board of Equalization.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of V~rnon shall
22 certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 21st day of April, 1959.
