6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2265 TO CORRECT A TYPOGRAPHICAL
ERROR IN SAID RESOLUTION.. AND REPEALING ALh RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
7 WHEREAS, under date of June 5, 1959, Chief Husted advised
8 the City Council of a typographical error in the wage rate for Hoseman
9 Grade 3 of $478 per month when it should have been $487 per month; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to correct
11 said error;

12 NOW~ THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Schedule II of Resolution No. 2265 under
14 the heading IIHosemanll be, and the same is hereby amended to read as
15 follows:

SECTION 2:
This resolution shall be retroactive to

20 May 1, 1959.
SECTION 3:
All parts of Resolution No. 2265 in conflict

22 with this resolution are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.

Honorable Members:
Due to a typographical error (transposition), the wage for
Hoseman Grade 3, submitted to your Honorable Body, was listed
as $478.00 per month, when it should have been $487.00 per month,
conforming with the scale submitted by the Police Department
for Motor Officer Grade 3.
Therefore, it is respectfully requested that City Council
Resolution Number 2265 be amended, retroactive to the date of
the Resolution, to change the salary for Hoseman Grade 3 to
$487.00 per month.
