3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
INDICATING ITS INTENTION TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF A
4 CONTRACT WITH A SUITABLE CONSULTING FIRM FOR APPRAISAL
AND REPORT OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS. there is a community of interests among the four
Southeast District Cities of Bell, Huntington Park, Maywood and Vernon;
and
WHEREAS. there is a specific need for an evaluation of the
educational facilities a.fforded to these four cities by the Los Angeles School
District;
NOW ~ THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby expresses its intention to authorize the execution of a contract with
a suita.ble consulting firm for an appraisal and report of Government services.
SECTION 2 :
That the City of Vernon will expend a Sum
not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).
SECTION 3:
That the intention expressed herein is
specifically conditioned upon financial participation by the other three cities
mentioned in the recitals hereof.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the. passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
