3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM AMERICAN POTASH &. CHEMICAL
4 CORPORATION TO A PORTION OF RANCHO SAN ANTONIO IN THE CITY
OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAs, American Potasn &. Chemical Corporation has granted
to the City of Vernon an easement for public street purposes over and acroSs
the following described real property located in the City of Vernon, County
of Los Angeles, State of California:
That portion of Rancho San Antonio and of Tract 9734
in the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 160, pages 5
and 6 of Maps.. in the office of the County Recorder of
s.aid County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of Lot 10 of
said Tract 9734, distant thereon N 10 17100" W 17.58
feet from the southwesterly corner thereof; thence
along a line parallel with the southerly line of said
Lot 10... N 880 36t 10" E 50.00 feet; thence S 10 17' 00"
E 53.48 feet more or less to the northeasterly line of
Los Angeles County Flood Control District right of way,
as described in decree entered in case 431629 of the
Superior Court; thence along said northeasterly line...
N 550 40' .20" W 61.50 feet more or less to the south-
westerly corner of said Lot 10; thence N 10 17' 00"
W 17.58 feet to the point of beginning;
and
WHEREAS, said description has been checked by the Engineering
Department of the City of Vernon, and said Easement has been approved as
to form by Vincent R. Poxon, City Attorney, and recommends. that said
Easement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon he,reby
accepts the aforesaid Eas.ement from American Potash &. Chemical Corpora-
tion... together with the property conveyed thereby, and directs the recording
of said Easement with the County Recorder of Los Angeles County...
California.

SECTION 2.:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
3 same shall be in full force and effect.
4 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 16th dayof .Tune, 1959.
