RESOLUTION NO. 2292
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
AMENDING RULE m. SUBPARAGRAPH 3.. OF RESOLUTION NO. 2224
ESTABLISIDNG RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR USE OF THE PURCHASING
DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
Rule III, subparagraph 3., af Resolutian
NO'. 2224, entitled "By Heads af Departments" is hereby amended to'
read as follows:
"3. By Heads of Departments.
In case af an
emergency which requires immediate purchase af supplies,
equipment or services, the head af any using agency may
purchase directly any supplies, equipment ar services in
the amaunt af $2,000 ar.less. If
SECTION 2:
That all ather pravisians af Resalutian
NO'. 2224 shall remain in full farce and effect.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk af the City af Vernon shall
certify to the passage af this Resolution and thereupan and thereafter the
same shall be in fun force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of August, 1959.
