RESOLUTION NO. 2308
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 AMENDING RULE III., SUBPARAGRAPH 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 2224
AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2292~ ESTABLISHING RULES AND
4 RE.GULATIONS FOR USE OF THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECT ION 1:
Rule IIl~ subparagraph 3 of Res olution
7 No. 2224~ entitled "By Heads of Departments" as amended by Resolution
8 No. 2292~ is hereby amended to read as follows:
"3. B~ Hea.ds of Departments.
In case of an
emergency which requires immediate purchase of supplies,
equipment or services, the head of any using agency may
purcha.se directly any suppUes# equipment or services in
the amount of $2,500.00 or less. n
SECTION 2:
That Resolution No. 2292 is hereby re-
15 liwinded in full, and all other provisions of Resolution No. 2224 shall remain

16 in full force and effect.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
18 certify to the passage of this Res01ution and thereupon and thereafter the
19 same shan be in full force and effect.
20 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of Decemher~ 1959.
