RESOLUTION NO. 2300
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 229 AND PLANS NO. B14-1538 CON-
SISTING OF TWELVE (12) SHEETS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE
STATION NO. 3~ AND DETERMINING THE GE.NERAL PREVAILING RATE
OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS~ Mason~ Muntz. & Associates. Architects and
8 Engineers. have presented to the City Council with their letter of January 26~
9 1960~ Specifications No. 229 for the construction of Fire Station No. 3 in
10 the City of Vernon; and
11 WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Vernon has
12 investigated the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for
13 the work done under said Specifications No. 229;
14 NOW 3 THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 229 and Plans
16 No. B14-1538~ consisting of twelve (12) sheets~ be and the same are hereby
17 approved for the construction of Fire Station No. 3 in the City of Vernon.

SECT ION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
19 has ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
20 rate per diem for wages for laborers. workmen and mechanics employed
21 by contractors and subcontractors~ for the doing of any work set forth in
22 Specifications No. 229 are those wage rate schedules contained in said
23 Specifications No. 229.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of February, 1960.
