2318
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS AND ELEC-
TRONICS"INC. FOR THE FURNISHING ANDINST ALLING OF TWO
THREE-WAY FM RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS FOR USE OF THE
CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ Specifications No. 233 were approved by the City
Council on January 5., 1960 and pursuant thereto sealed bids were opened
on January 19, 1960; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to th.e Chief of Police and
the Fire Chief of the City of Vernon who reported to the City Council under
date of January 28, 1960. recommending that the bid of Motorola Communica-
tions and Electronics" Inc. be accepted;
NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby accept the bid of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc.
for the furnishing and inst.alling of two three-way FM Radio Communication
Systems for use of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected, and the
City Clerk is hereby instructed and directed to return all checks and drafts
to unsuccessful bidders.
SECT10N 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of February~ 1960.
