RESOLUTION NO. 2319
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE BID OF YANKEE MOTOR BODIES CORPORATION FOR
THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF ONE HIGH-PRESSURE FOAMI'
MANIFOLD AND HOSE CARRIER AND ACCESSORlES TO BE USED ;BY
THE FlRE, DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHER.EAS~ Specifications No. 234 were approved by the City
Council on January 5~ 1960 and pursuant thereto sealed bids were opened on
January 19~ 1960; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to the Fire Chief who reported
to the City Council under date of January 29~ 1960. recommending that the
bid of Yankee Motor Bodies Corporation be accepted;
NOW" THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby accept the bid of Yankee Motor Bodies Corporation for the
furnishing and delivery to the City of Vernon of one High-Pressure Foam,
Manifold and Hose Carrier and Accessories to be used by the Fire Depart-
ment.
SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected, and the City
Clerk is hereby mstructed and directed to return all checks and drafts to
unsuccessful bidders.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of February, 1960.
