RESOLUTION NO. &337
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE R.ESURF ACING OF SOTO STREET FROM THE LOS
ANGELES R.IVER. BRIDGE TO THE SOUTH CITY BOUNDAR.Y OF SAID
4 CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 227.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS~ David D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported
8 to the City Council under date of April 12, 1960~ that the work of resurfacing
9 Soto Street has been completed; and
10 WHEREAS~ said David D. Grayson, recommends that payment
11 be made in accordance with said contract.
12 NOW~ THEREFOR.EJI. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the resurfacing of Sot 0 Street from the
14 Los Angeles River B.ridge to the south city boundary of the City of Vernon
15 be, and the same is' hereby accepted as being in accordance with Contract
16 No. 227 of said City.

SECTION.2:
That the balance due on said Contract ig the
18 sum of $5# 210.09" and said sum is hereby directed to pe paid to C. O.
19 Sparks) Inc. and Mundo Engineering Company. a joint venture" thirty-five
20 (35) days after the adoption of this resolution.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon ghall
22 certify to the paggage of this R.esolution# and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 19th day of April) 1960.
