RESOLUTION NO. 2338
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 37TH STREET WATER MAIN
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 231.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS~ Arthur E. Nelson. Jr. , City Engineer" has reported
7 to the City Council under date of April 12, 1960" that the work of construct-
8 ing the 37th Street Water Main has heen completed; and
9 WHEREAS~ said Arthur E. Nelson,Jr. # recommends that pay-
10 ment be made in accordance with sa.id contract.
11 NOW. THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the construction of the 37th Street Water
13 Main be, and the same is hereby accepted as being in accordance with
14 Contract No. 231 of said City.

SECTION 2:
After crediting partial payments heretofore
16 made there is now due an additional payment of $306. 16 and the remaining
17 fifteen percent, or the sum of $9, 92a. 18~ is payable thirty-five days after
18 acceptance of the work . and said sums are hereby directed to be paid to
19 Ernest C. Collins Co.. in accordance with the Contract.

SECTION. 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
21 certify to the passage of this Resolution" and thereupon and thereafter the
22 same shall be in full force and effect.
