A RESOLU'I'IONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T}JE': CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPSCIFICATIONS NO. 239" PLANS NO. B14-1576 CONSISTING
OF SEVEN (7) SHEETS AND ADDENDUM NO. 1 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE MUNICIPAL APARTMENT HOUSING, AND DETERMINING THE
GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHE.REAS, Mason, Muntz &; Associates, Architects and
Engineers.. have presented to the City Council with their letter of June 3#
1960# Specifieatio1l$ No. 239 for the construction of Municipal Apartment
Housing in the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS" the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
under said Specifications No. 239 ;
NOW~ THEREFO~, BE IT RESOLVSD:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 239" Plans No.
16 B14-1576 consisting .of seven (7) sheets and. Addendum No.1, be and the
17 same are hereby approved for the construction of Municipal Apartment
18 Housing in: the CUyof Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vern:on
20 ha.sascertained and does hereby find and d.eclare that thegenera.lprevaiUng
21 rate per diem for wages for laborers" workmen and mechanics employed
22 by contractors and subcontractors# for the doing of any work set forth in
23SpecificaUons No. 239 are those wage rate $chedules contained in said
24 Specifications No. 239.

SECTION 3:
The-City Clerk of the City of V.ernonshall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in: full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day of July# 1960.
