A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF VERNON
FlXING THE RATE OF T.AXl1S AND LEVYING THE TAXES FOR THE
FISCAL YEARBEGlNNINGJULY 1. 1960.
TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON B.ESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That for the purpose of raising the sum of
7 money to be raiaed by taxation upon taxable property in the City of Vernon
8 as revenue to carry on the variousdep"artmentsof the City for the fiscal
9 year beginning .July 1, 1960, the rate of taxes for the different portions of
10 the City of Vernon .are hereby fixed and th.e taxes: are h.ereby levied onal1
11 taxaQle property in the different p"ortions of said City for the fiscal year
12 beginning .July 1, 196.0, in the number of cents upon each one hundred dol-
13 lars of the a.ssessed value of said property. as assessed by the County
14 Assessor an.d equalbed by the Board of Supervisors of said County of Los
15 Angeles. and for the several funds and purposes 5.et forth in the following
16 table. the taxes levied upon property in each portion of said City herein-
17 after described and designated by District number, being at the rates set
18 opposite the designations of the respective funds in the column headed by
19 the district number which is prefixed to the description of eachsueh portion
20 of said City, as hereinafter stated.

The northwest eornerof 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue" at the northeast
corner of Leonis BOulevard and Pacific Boulevard" and on the bulletin board
in the lobby of th.e City Hall of the City of Vernon. located at 4305 Santa Fe
Avenue" in said City~and that imm.ediatelyupon the posting thereof this
