.RE.SOLUTION NO. 2380
A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY..COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 26TH STREET WATER .MAIN
FROM 1880 FEET W&ST OF INDIANA ST~ETTO .540 FEET WEST OF
INDIANA STREET" IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRAer NO. 241.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS" Arthur E. Nelson" Jr." City Engineer" ha$ reported.
to the .CityConncil under date of September 1~ 1960~ that Ute work of
constructing the 26th Street Water Main h.as. been completed.; and.
WHEREAS" said Arthur E. Nelson" Jr." recommeI1.d$ that payment
be made in ac~ordance withs:aid contract.
NOW. TlJ,EREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the construction of the 26th. Street Water
Main from 1880 feet west of Indiana Street to 540 feet west of Indiana Street
be" and the same is hereby accepted as being in accordance with Contract
No. 241 of said City.
SECTION 2:
That the balance due on said contract is the
sum of $2~ 693. 70~ and said sum is hereby directed to be paid. to Rossi
Construction Company thirty-five (35} days after the .adoptionof this
resolution.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this. R.esolution. and thereupon and. thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of September" 1960.
