RESOLUTION NO. 2381
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF VERNON
3 APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 248 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION.OF THE
PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY.. AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL. PRE-
4 VAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

THE.CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS. under date of September 1" 1960" Contract No. 248
8 was presented to the City Council for the construction of Public Works
9 Facility; and
10 WHEREAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
11 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the workdone
12 under said Contract No. 248.
13 NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION.!:
That Contract No. 248 be. and the same is
15 hereby approved for the construction of the Public Works Facility inth.e
16 City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
18 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
19 per diem for wages for laborers" workmen and mechanics employed by
20 contractors and subcontractors" for the doing of any work set forth in Contract
21 No. 248 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract No. 248.

SECT ION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
23 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
24 same shall be in full force and effect.
25 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of September" 1960.
