RESOLUTION NO. 2386
ARESQLUTIQN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNO:N
3 ACCEPTING THE BmOF H. W. SANT FOR THE CQNSTRUCTIONOF
MUNICIPAL APARTMENT HOUSING IN ACCO:RDANCE WITH.SPECIFICA-
4 TIQN NO. 239 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS.. Specifications No. 2.39 were approved by the City
8 Council by Resolution No. 2349", and pursuant thereto sealed bids were
9 opened on September 6.. 1960; and
10 WHEREAS.. said bids were referred to Mason", Munt~& Associate ..
11 who has reported to the City Council under date .of September 15.. 1960..
12 recommending that a contract be awarded to Mr. H. W. Bant.. 700 South
13 ward Avenue, Compton.. California.. f.or the sum of $63.. 836. 00.. it being
14 the lowest bid received meeting the contract requirem.ents;
15 NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 does hereby award the contract lnaccordance with the recommendation of
18 :Mason, Munt~&Associates,and authorizes the executi.on of a contract with
19 :Mr.H. W. Sant for the construction of Municipal Apartment Housing, in
20 accordance with Specifications No. 239 heretofore approved.

SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected, and the City
22 Clerk is hereby instructed and directed to return all checks or drafur to
23 unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage .of this Resolutio~and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
