A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WITHDRAWING CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE BELVEDERE GARBAGE
DISPOSAL DISTR.ICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. the City of Vernon did annex certain territory
lying within the Belvedere Garbage Disposal District; and
WHEREAS~on the Z8th day of September~ 1959.. Frank M.
Jordan~ Secretary of the State of California.. did certify the completion of
said annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon..
under authority granted by Sec.tion 4143 of the Health and Safety Code of the
state of Ca1ifornia~ does hereby request that certain territory designated
as "Bandini Annexation" be withdrawn from the Belvedere Garbage Disposal
District. Said "Bandini Annexation" is more particularly described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly line of
Atlantic Boulevard (formerly Atlantic Avenue~ and the northeasterly
boundary of the City of Vernon as per map filed in book 3 a.t page 19
of Official Maps.. in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California; thence generally northeasterly along the generally north-
westerly line of said Atlantic Boulevard tQa point in that certain
curve in the. Southerly line of Bandini Boulevard.. described as having
a radius of 30 feet indeed to the County of Los Angeles recorded
February 24.. 1925 in Book 3860~ Page 214.. Official Records of said
County; thence northeasterly in a direct line to the most Westerly
cOrner of the parcel of land (for Atlantic Boulevard) described in
deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded June 1.. 1936 in Book
14186, Page 110.. Official Records of said County; thence North-
easterly along the Northwesterly line of said last mentioned deed..
Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of Atlantic Boulevard
(formerly Atlantic Avenue) as described in deed to the County of Los
Angeles recorded May 9.. 1936 in Book 14074.. Page 297.. Official
Records of said County.. Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line
of Atlantic Boulevard (formerly Atlantic Avenue) described as
Parcel 1 in deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded December 20~
1935 in Book 13900.. Page 29, Official Records of said County and
continuing northeasterly along the northeasterly prolongation of that
certain course described as having a bearing of North 480 4SJ 39"
East in s.aid last mentioned deed.. to the northerly line of East 26th
Street as shown On said map; thence westerl~ong said northerly
line to a southeasterly corner of the boundary of the City of V ern~m~
as shown on said map; thence continuing westerly along said last
mentioned boundary and following the sa.me in all its various courses
to the point of beginning.

2 hereby directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Board of
3 Supervisors of Lns Angeles County.

5 certify to the pa.ssageof this Resolution.. and thereupon and thereafter the
6 same shall be in full force and effect.
