3 A RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON SANTA FE
4 A VENUE AND 55TH STREET. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
245 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY.THE CITY OF VERNON.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS. F.oLLOWS:
WHEREAS~ David D. Grayson. Traffic Engineer of the City
of Vernon. has reported to the City Council under date of Decemher 28.
1960 that We states Electrical Construction Company has completed the
work of installing traffic signals at Santa Fe Avenue and 55th Street in
accordance with Contract No. 245; and
WHEREAS. said David D. Grayson has recommended that
the work be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in. accordance
with the agreement;
NOW~ THEREFORE... BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the work of installing traffic signals
17 at Santa Fe Avenue and 55th Street be. and the Sa.J::De is hereby accepted in
18 accordance with Contract No. 245 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECT ION 2 :
That there is now due and payable to
20 Westates Electrical Construction Company the sum of $8.036.85, and the
21 remaining fifteen percent. or the sum of $1.524.15 is payable thirty-five
22 (35) days after the adoption of this Resolution. and the City Council hereby
23 directs paYment of said sum to said Company upon the adoption of this
24 Resolution. and the balance thirty-five (35) days thereafter.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

26 certify to the passage of this Resolution. and thereupon and thereafter the
