A RESC'JLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 254 FOIt THE FURNISHING AND
DELIVERY TO THE CITY OF VERNON OF ONE EIGHTY - FOOT FIRE
TOWER AND LADDER TRUCK MOTOR FIRE APPARATUS~ FOR USE
OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. under date of January 3.. 1961~ L. C. Husted.. Fire
Chief of the City of Vernon.. presented to the City Council Specifications
No. 254 for the furnishing and delivery to the City of Vernon of one Eighty-
Foot Fire Tower and Ladder Truck Motor Fire Apparatus for USe of the
Fire Department.
NOW" THEREFORE~ :BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 254 be.. and the
same is hereby approved for the furnishing and delivery of one Eighty-
Foot Fire Tower and Ladder Truck Motor Fire Apparatus to the City of
Vernon.. for use of the Fire Department.
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of January, 1961.
