3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITy OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 252 FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLING
4 R.ADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF VERNON~ AND
DETERMINING THE GENERAL .PREVAILING RATE OF PER nIEM WAGES.
RESOLUTION NO. 2409
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS.. under date of February 15. 1961.. David D.Grayson.
Traffic Engineer. and R. H. King. Superintendent of Water and Sewer
Systems.. presented to the City Council Contract No. 252 for furnishinga.nd
installing radio communication system for the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS.. the City Council of the City of Vernon has in.vestigated
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the workdo.n:.e
under said Contract No. 252;
NOW. THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 252 be.. and the same
is hereby approved for furnishing and installing radio communieat:i.onsystem
for the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing .rate
per diem for wages for laborers.. workmen and mechanics employed by
contractors and subcontractors.. for the doing of any work set forth in
Contract No. 252 are those wage rate schedu1escontained in said Contract
No. 252.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereup.on and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effecl.
