3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
PLACING NEWLY ANNEXED TERRITORY INTO CITY OF VERNON
4 TAX DISTRICT NO.2.
5 THE ClTYCOUNClL QFTHE CITY OF VERNON RESOLYES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS.. .on November 5.. 1958 the City Council of the City .of
7 Vernon did adopt Resolution No. 2229consolidating"City of Vernon Tax
8 District No.1 "and "City of Vernon Tax District No.2"; and
9 WHEREAS.. there have been subs.equent annexations to the
10 City of Vernon; and
11 WHEREAS.. there is now the need for tw.o separate tax ciistricts
12 within the City due to said annexations~
13 NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of
15 Vernon hereby forms Tax District No.. 2 and that said district shall be
16c.omprlsed of all territory annexed to the City of Vernon subsequent to
17 No.vember 5~ 1958.

SECTION 2:
That Tax District No. 1 shall be com-
prised of all that portion of the Cltyof Vernon as it existed prior to
November 5.. 1958.
SECTION 3 :
The City,Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution~ and the re up on and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 21st day of February~ 1961.
