GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

6 THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of February 28~ 1961~ Robert H. King,
8 Superintendent of Water and Sewer System'S~ presented to the City.Coundl
9 Contract No.' 253 fer the construction of a 750~ 000 gaIlonelevated water
10 tank behind City of YernonFire Station No.3; and
11 W1lERE.AS~ the City CouncU of the City of Vernon has. investigate
12 the general prevaiUng .rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
13 under said Contract No. 253;
14 NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 253 be~ and the sam.e is
16 hereby approved for the construction of a 750~ 000 gallon elevated water
17 tank behind City of Vernon Fire Statton No.3.

SECTION 2:
The CityCouncU of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general p.revai1i~ rate
per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by
contractors and subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in
Contract .No. 253 are those wage rates.chedules contained in said Contract
No. 253:.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of th.e City of vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and. thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
