RESOLUTION NO. 2425
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING cON'rMCT NO. 246 AND PLAN NO. A3-1573 FOR RE-
CONSTRUCTION OF FRUITLAND AVENUE FOOMSOTOST~ET TO
DOWNEY ROAD.. AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE
OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON R.ESOLVE$ AS FOLLOWS:
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT R.ESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 246 and Plan No. A3-1573
15 be, and the same are hereby approved for the reconstruction of Fruitland
16 Avenue fromSoto Street t'O Downey R-oad.

SECTION 2:
The City Cou.ncil of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechantcsemployed by
contractors and subcontractors, for, the doing 'of any work set forth in
Contract No.. 246 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
No. 246.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage "Of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall he in full force and effect.
ADOPTED an.d .APPROVED this 16th day of May, 1961.
