5 THE CITY COUNCIL OFTIiECITYOF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS" on May 24, 1960~ the Crown Coach Corporation. was.
.7 awarded theeontract for the ff,rnishingof one 1750 Gallon Per Minute
8 'rriple Combination Pumper in accordance with SpecificaUona No. 240., to
9 be used by the Fire Jilepartment; and
10 WHEREAS, L. C. Husted~ Fire Chief, has reported ~ the City
11 Councll under date of March 27, 1961, that said equipment has been reeeived
12 inasatisfacto.ry manner, and that payment should be made inaceordanee
13 with the contract;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That .one 1750. Gallon Per Minute Triple
16 Combination Pumper bel and the same i$h.erebyaceepted as beingsatiJl-
17 factory .and inacCOr"dance with $peclficationa No. 240.1 heretQiore a.pprove~
18 by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That the refs now due Cr()wn Coach
20 Corpo.r.ation theaumof $321 287.86, being 900/. .of the contract price, plus
21 $1, 4;l5. 0.2 sales tax, ora total aum'of $33" 722.88, and the ba.lance of
22 $;ll 587. 54 is: due thirty~five (35) days. after the pas.s:age of this res.olution.
23 and the City Council hereby directs payment of said sum' to. said Company
24 upon the adoption of this. ResO'lution, and the balance thirty-five (35} days
25 thereafter.
