A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 250 AND PLAN NO. A3-1580 FOR RESUR-
FACING OF VERNON AVENUE FROM SANTA FE AVENUE TO SOTO
STREET~ AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF
PEa DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of April 14, 1961, David D. Grayson~
Traffic Engineer, presented to the City Council Contract No. 250 for the
resurfacing of Vernon Avenue from .Santa Fe Avenue to .Soto street; and
WHEREAS, the CityCounciI of the City of Vernon has investi-
gated the g.eneral prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid fOr the work
done under said Contract No. 250.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 250 and Plan No. A3-1580
15 be, and the same are hereby approved for the resurfacing of VernonAvenue
16 from Santa Fe Avenue toSo.to Street.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by
contractors andsubcontractors~ for the doing of any work set forth in
Contract No. 250 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
No. 250.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of April, 1961.
