RESOLUTION NO. 2438
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
3 APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 259 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
WELL NO. 14 OF SAID CITY~ AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL
4 PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

7 WHEREAS~ under date of April 12, 1961, Contract No. 259
8 was presented to the City Council for the construction of Well No. 14; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
10 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
11 under said Contract No. 259;

12 NOW~ THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 259 be, and the same is
14 hereby approved for the construction of Well No. 14 of said City.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
16 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
17 rate per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed
18 by contractor s and subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in
19 Contract No. 259 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
20 No. 259.

SEqTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
23 same shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of April. 196!.
