THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNONRB$()LVESAS FOLLOWS:

of the City of VernQn by .Resolution No. 2414~ and pursuant thereto sealed
bids were opened on Apri14~ 19tH; and
WH$U~ Said. bids were referred to David D. Gray$:On~
Traffic Engin.eer, who has reported to the CitYiCouncil under 'date of
April6~ 1961, recommending that a contract be awarded to:Qriffith
Company#f~r the s.um.of.40~ 917. ():8~ it being the lowest bid received
meeting. th.e '.contract requirementa.
NOW, TnnFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:

That the City CouncU'of th.e CUyof Vernon
doesherebyawa:rd the contract in accordance with. the recOmmendation ,of
DavidD. Qraysu;m, TrafficEngineer~ a;nd auth.orizes the' execution of a
contra,ct with Qrlffith.Company for the' reconstruction of B.oyle Avenue from
Vernon Avenue to Leonis. Bouleard in accordance withCoI'ltract .No. 249
heretofore approved by the City Council.
SECTION 2:
That, allotb.er bid$. are re;te:cted. and, the City

uns uccessful bidtlers.
