SECTION 2:
There being n.o newspaper of generalcircula-
ti.on printed~ published and circulated in the City .of Vern.on, the City Clerk
is hereby directed to post said n.otice.. .or cause the same t.o be posted, in
three (3) .of the m.ost public places in said City, t.o wit: the n.orthwest
corner .of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast carner .of Leonis
B.oulevard and Pacific B.oulevard, and.on the bulletin b.oard in the l.obby .of
the City Hall .of the City .of Vernen, l.ocated.at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue in
said City.
SECTION 3:
The first pasting .of said n.otice shall be n.ot
less than ten (10) days bef.ore the date .of opening bids far the prop.osed
equipment. The n.otice shall distinctly state the equipment t.o be purchased.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk .of the City .of Vern.on .shall
certify t.o the passage .of this Resolutien, and thereup.on and thereafter the
same shall be in full farce and effect.

ONE UTILITY BILLING MACHINE AND
ACCESSORIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CITY OF VERNON SPECIFICATIONS NO. 2.67.
6 Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Vernon"
7 California" at the City ClerkYs Office of said City at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue,
8 Vernon 58.. California" until 2:00 o'clock p. m. on the 15th day of August,
9 1961, for the furnishing and delivery to the City of Vernon of one Utility
10 Billing Machine and. accessories to be used in the Office of the City Clerk
11 of said City" in accordance withSpedfications No. 267 approved by said
12 City. The proposals will be publicly opened and read in the Council
13 Chambers of the City Hall, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue.. Vernon,
14 California, on the date and at the time above-mentioned. Spe cifications
15 and contract documents may be obtained at the above-mentioned office of
16 the City Clerk, upon payment of a deposit of ten dollars ($10.00) for each
17 specification.

The equipment to be furnished under said specifications is as
follows: One Utility Billing machine and accessories.. for use of th.e Office
of the City Clerk of said City.
ACCEPT ANCE OR REJECTION
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and accept
any bid which in its judgment will produce the most satisfactory and
economical result.. suited to the requirements of the Office of the City Clerk
of said City.
The bidder is required to specify the proposed date of delivery
and the City Council shall take into consideration in awarding the oontract,
the time required for the delivery of said new Utility Billing machine and
accessories.
SCHEDULE OF PROPOSALS
Each proposal must be delivered to the City Clerk of the City of
Vernon.. City Hall.. 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon.. California, in sealed

BOND REQUIREMENT
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers
check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the estimated aggregate
amount of the bid as a guaranty that the bidderl if an award is made in
accordance with the terms of his proposal will promptly execute a contract
in the required forml and furnish a satisfactory bond for the faithful
performance of the contract.
