3 A .RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS NO. 258 AND PLANS NO. B14-1594
4 FOR THE FIRE STATION NO. 2 AND COMMUNICATIONS BUILDING..
AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER
5 DIEM WAGES.
RESOLUTION NO. 2476
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS.. under date of August 9~ 1961.. L. C. Husted~ Fire
8 Ch.ief~ presented Specifications No. 258 with Plans No. B14-1594 to the
9 City Council for Fire Station No. 2 and Communications Building; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigate
11 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for th.e work done
12 under said Specifications No. 258.
13 NOW.. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Specifications No. 258 and Plans No.
15 B14-1594 be.. and the same are hereby approved for the Fire Station No. 2
16 and Communications Building.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
18 ascertained and doe.s hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
19 rate per diem for wages for laborers~ workmen and mechanics employed by
20 contractors and subcontractors.. for the doing of any work set forth in
21 Specifications No. 258 are those wage rate schedules conl;ained in said
22 Specifications No. 258.

SE CTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 15th day of August.. 1961.
