6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ClTYOF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS.. Specifieations No. 267 were approved by tne
8 City Councllon August 1.. 1961 and pursuant tneretosealed bid,S w.ere
9 open.e:d On August 1,.# 1961; and
10 ~REAS~ said bids Were referred to the City Clerk who
11 reported to the City Cou.t1-Gll on August 16.. 1961 reco:mm.ending that the bid
12 of thE!: National Cash Register Company fortbe sum of $3.. 780.73 be accepted;
13 NOW~ THEREFORE.. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the City Council of .the City of Vernon
15 does hereby accept the bid of the National Cash Register. Company for the
16 furnishing and delivery of one utility billing machine and accessories. in
17 accordance with Specifications No. 267# and herebya.uthorize.s the City
18 Clerk to isSUe apurchas.e order for said equipment in accordance with
19 Speclficatio.ns No. 267.

SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected.. and the
21 City Clerk is hereby instructed and dire:cled to return all cheeks alto drafts
22 to unsucces.sfu1 bidders.

The City Clerk of the City of V.ernonshall
certify to the passage of this Resolution~ and thereupon and thereaiter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
