3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 261 AND PLAN NO. B5-1600 FOR ELEVATED
4 TANK CONNECTION~ AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING
RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

8 WHEREAS, under date of October 11" 1961, Robert H. King"
9 Superintendent of Water and Sewer Systems~ presented Contract No. 261
10 and Plan No. B5-1600 to the City C.ouncil for the construction of Elevated
11 Tank Connection; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigate
13 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid f.or the w.ork done
14 under said Contract No. 261.
15 NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 261 and Plan No. B5-1600
be" and the sam.eare hereby approved for the construdion of Elevated Tank
Connection.
SECTION 2:
The City C.ouncil of the City.of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for laborers" w.orkmen and mechanics employed by
contractors andsubcontradors" for the doing .of any work set forth in
Contract No. 261 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
No. 261.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk .of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage .of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 7th day of November, 1961.
