3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 271 FOR EQUIPMENT FOR THE CITY OF
4 VERNON PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY, AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL
PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of September 29" 1961, the Engineering
8 Department of the City of Vernon, presented Contract No. 271 for furnishing
9 and installing equipment for the City of Vernon Public Works Facility; and
10 WHEREAS" the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
11 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
12 under said Contract No. 271;
13 NOW ~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 271 be, and the same is
15 hereby approved for the furnishing and installing of equipment for the City
16 of Vernon Public Works Facility.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
18 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
19 per diem for wages for laborers." workmen and mechanics employed by
20 contractors and subcontractors" for the doing of any work set forth in
21 Contract No. 271 are thos.e wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
22 No. 271.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this re.solution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 3rd day of October" 1961.
