CityEngineer, who h,a.$ .reporte-d to the CityCm,ilRcU under date of September
29 ~ 1961 recommending .that .acontraet be awarde.d w. SearuiUa Construction
Company; for the$um.of $5" 515.00, it being the lowest bid received meeting
the .contntct~quirements.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City Council of the City of Vernon

contract with. ScandiaConstruettonCompany" 11707 Virginia Avenue,
CQcmpton, California, fo~rthe conatructionof Vernon Avenue Relief Sewer,
in Vernon Avenue fr()mAlcoa Avenue t.o: two hundred and fifty feet{25QI) East
of Alcoa Avenue in the City of Vernon~ ina.ccordance with Contract No. 269
heretofore approved by.the. City CouncU.

That allotker bids are rejected, and the
