R.ESOLUTION NO. 2502
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNClLOF THE ClTY OF VERNON
3 APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 272 FORrbONSTRUCTION OF A SANITARY
SEWER IN..SANTA FE.AVENUE FROM 57TH.STREET TO SLAUSQN.AVENUE"
4 AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM
WAGES.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of November 3, 1961.. Contract No. 272
8 was preaented to the City Council for the construction of a. Sanitary Sewer
9 in Santa Fe Avenue from 57th Street to Slauson Avenue; and
10 WHE.REAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
11 the general prevaiUng rate of per die-mwa.ges to be paid for the work ~ne
12 under said Contract No. 272.
13 NOW... THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION .1:
That Contract No. 272 be, and the ti3.m.e is
15 herebya.pproved for the construction of a Sanitary Sewer inSauta Fe Avenue
16 from 57th Street to Sla.usonAvenue in the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
The City C<>unci!of the City of Vernon has
18 aseertained anddQes hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
19 pe r diem for wages for labore-rti.. workmen andmechanicsemployed by
20 contractors and subcontractors.. for the doing of .any work aet forth in
21 Contract No. 272 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
22 No. 272.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Verncmtihal1
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
25 same shall be in full force and effect.
