RESOLUTION NO. 2510
3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENT OF 50TH STREET FROM ALCOA
4 AVENUE TO DOWNEYROAD~ IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
265 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF VERNON.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, David D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported to
8 the City Council under date of November 9, 1961" that the improvement of
9 50th Street from Alcoa Avenue to Downey Road has been completed in
10 accordance with Contract No. 265; and
11 WHEREAS" said David D. Grayson has recommended that the
12 work be accepted and payment made to the Contractor in accordance with
13 the agreement;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the improvement of 50th Street from Alcoa
16 Avenue to Downey Road be, and the same is hereby accepted in accordance
17 with Contract No. 265 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment in amount of $2" 449. 59 has
19 been made, and the remaining fifteen percent, or the sum of $432.28 is pay-
20 able thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this resolution, and the City
21 Council hereby directs payment of said sum to the Contractor, Sully-Miller
22 Cont racting Company.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 21st day of November, 1961.
