RESOLUTION NO. 2515
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 264 FOR WELL NO. 14 - EQUIPl\{E.NT AND
SITE IMPROVEMENT~ AND DETERMINING T1!E GENERAL PREVAILING
RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, under date of December 27, 1961, Robert H. King,
Superintendent of Water and Sewer Systems , presented to the City Coun-cil
ComractNQ. 264 for the construction of Well No. 14.. Equipment and Site
Improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has inVe'lItiga.ted
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
under said Contract No. 264;
NOW, THEREFORE, lJ.E IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 264 be, and the same is
hereby approved for the construction of Well No. 14 - Equipment and Site
Improvement.
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing rate
per diem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics empl()yed by
contractors and subrontractors, for the doing ell any work set forth in
Contract No. 264 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
No. 264.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
ce rtify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupottand thereafter the
same shall be in full force andeffecl.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 2nd day of January, 1962.
