3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 277 AND PLAN NO. T 1616 FOR INSTALLA-
4 TION OF VEHICLE DETECTORS AT THE INTERSECTION OF FRUITLAND
AVENUE ANDSOTO STREET" AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL
5 PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES.

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, under date of January 24" 1962, David D. Grayson"
8 Traffic Engineer" presented Contract No. 277 to the City Council for
9 installation of vehicle detectors at the intersection of Fruitland Avenue
10 and Soto Street; and
11 WHER;EAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has investigated
12 the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid for the work done
13 under said Contract No. 277.
14 NOW~ THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That Contract No. 2.77 and Plan No. T 1616 be,
16 and the same are hereby approved for installation of vehicle detectors at the
17 intersection of Fruitland Avenue and Soto Street.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon has
19 ascertained and does hereby find and declare that the general prevailing
20 rate perdfem for wages for laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by
21 contractors and subcontractors, for the doing of any work set forth in
22 Contract No. 277 are those wage rate schedules contained in said Contract
23 No. 277.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
