3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON
ACCEPTING FURNITURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SCHEDULE I OF
4 CONTRACT NO. 271 HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE CITY OF
VERNON.
RESOLUTION NO. 2527

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
7 WHEREAS, on November 7# 1961, Industrial Stationery and
8 Printing Company was awarded the contract for furnishing furniture in
9 accordance with Schedule I of Contract No. 271; and
10 WHEREAS" David D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported
11 to the City Council under date of January 31, 1962" that said furniture has
12 been received in a satisfactory manner. and that payment should be made in
13 accordance with the contract;
14 NOW, THEREFORE" BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That the furniture be, and the same is hereby
accepted as being satisfactory and in accordance with Schedule I of Contract
No. 271 heretofore approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That there is now due Industrial Stationery and
Printing Company the sum of $4.080.00. and the remaining fifteen percent"
or the sum of $720.00, is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption
of this resolution. and the City Council hereby directs payment of the sum
of $4.080.00 to said Company upon the adoption of this Resolution, and the
balance thirty-five days thereafter.
SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution .and the reupon and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of February, 1962.
